My name is Wan Rong Wang. I come from China.  I was born in 1963 in Chengdu. I was educated as a mechanical engineer and worked for 16 years in China.  In 1995 I came to Europe and worked in technical fields.  First I lived in Antwerp for four years, and then another two years in Germany. Since 2000 until now, I live in the Netherlands. 

 

         Two years ago painting became my new favorite hobby.  Painting gives me tremendous pleasure. Painting provides me a chance to show my deepest heart which I could not use a word to express my thoughts, feelings, and loves. Although the life is not smooth all the time, I always think positively, find the beautiful spots surrounding me. And when I see these beautiful things, I really want to paint on the canvas, so that I can keep and share these beautiful memories with others. 

 

      Until now flowers are my favorite subject in painting, because I really love them. Those unique flowers make my life happy and special!  They are not ordinary flowers.  You may even imagine my flowers as human beings.  They have their own personalities and feelings.  Some of them you could imagine as couples and some of them even contain more meanings and stories. The health life balance could also be found in my paintings. Pursuing beauty is the nature of human being.  The reflections of these ideas you can find on my ID card.  I would like to share these beauties with you. I hope you will enjoy it as well.
